Squeeze the plug harness really hard and pull, simple as that.

the harness is off, and its just the plug stuck in there unplugged, so just grip the bulb really hard and pull?

OK, I'm trying to do the same... let me see if I have this straight.

I'm at the point were I can access the connection to the bulb. The bulb is inside this black rubber sleeve (hahaha).

Now, I need to remove the black sleeve. How?
Pull the bulb out? Any turning? Mine was in there pretty tight and I didn't want to force it out.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Victor

hey haha, you pull the rubber boot off, and then there is a metal rod type thing holding the bulb in place. its hooked in on one side and screwed down on the other. Once you remove this backing piece the bulb will come right out.

I looked and looked and this is the most complete answer I found. I just needed that last little bit about the backing piece... now I won't break it.

Thanks,

Victor
