How to flush brake system?

I know this is a very basic question and I am sure I already know the answer. As I have never actually done it, I would like to ask and make sure I have a sound plan before I go for it.

I already have my brakes torn apart. The calipers and rotors are off. I am going to be upgrading to SS lines.

To do the brake flush, would I start with the left rear, remove the clamp from the brake line and pump the brake pedal until fresh fluid comes out the line, then clamp it again. Then move on to the right rear, right front and then left front repeating the process. Then flush out the clutch. Of course making sure not to let the reservoir level fall to low.

When you flush the brake system like this, does it also get all the brake fluid out of the ABS unit?

RR to LR to RF to LF always start the furthest from the master cylinder.
