I was about to buy this RX7 when i came across its carfax report. Although no frame damage was reported there was an accident. This is what it says

"10/07/2005 California
Police Report Accident reported
in Foster City, CA
Vehicle involved in crash
with an object "

Should i be worried? There is no way to get in touch with the owner of the car at this time is there anyway I could call the police station or look it up online to get more info on this crash?

 

Car fax should give you the police report #. Look up that police report.

 

there was no police report number on the report is there anyway to get it and where would I look up the report?

 

Contact the police dept in foster city where the report was filed. You have the date of the report and that should help narrow down the search. Just ask how you could go about getting a copy of the accident report.

it took me 3 months to find a FD with 0 accident report...if you feel iffy...walk away, there arent tons! but there are more out there to buy. good luck.
