How far do vacuum hoses need to be from turbos?

I was just wondering how close can the sillicon vacuum hoses be to the turbos without melting? I thought i was test to see how hot a peice of the hose could get and i put it in the microwave for 2 min and its a puddle so it makes me worry on the distance, anyone know?

Thanks
~Luke

Just keep them as far away as possible. If you're just replacing the stock ones, their locations are good.
