How do you tell if you have a 13t motor or 13brew???

Okay so I get my motor rebuilt and I am not sure if the motor I was given was a 13bt motor or 13b-rew... Please no flaming.

Are there certain markings that would indicate which is which???

Please help asap.

Why do you suspect you have a 13BT?

Because the guy that built my engine was a sleezy bastard!!! And I am not sure which one I have because I want to be able to run a microtech, so I need to know if it needs to be burned for a 13bt or 13brew...

But I am confused because he could have just used 13bt housing so... I just want to tell which CAS I need to use because I don't have one so I have to buy one and I need to know which one to get so I can have the microtech tuned for that one(Crank Angle Sensor)....

Simple, if it is blown it is a 13B-REW.

Check for rear motor mount bolts = 13BREW

Center motor mounting = 13bt

The 13B-REW has motor mounts at the very rear, part of the mount actually gets bolted with the rear corners of the oil pan.
The 13Bt has motor mounts right in the middle. I believe they are actually bolted to the mid-housing.
