Question how do you take off the rear lower lip?!

this one bolt is pissing me off. its the one on the corners of lip the holding it.

i cant take it off. i cant unscrew it. it seems to be welded to the bracket. i cant bend it out of the way. it almost seems like i have to take off the bumper to remove it.

all the other screws are out except this one.. geeez. pissing me off =)

my rear lip was damaged recently and i have a replacement .. its driving me nuts.

here's a pic of what i'm talking about.

I took the rear lip too, i like it much better without it. If you want to buy it just PM me. About that bolt, it should have a nut behind; it use a small mirror (your girl`s compact) to see it. If someone put it in there, you sould be able to take it out. Its only a Japanese car not an advance alien race UFO.

there's no tiny bolt. the screw is just stuck to the bracket. it seems to be one piece. i tried prying it off with a screw driver.

i have a replacement piece. so no need to buy one.. thanks for the offer tho.

Damn it man. Bust a nut, are you a cat or a mouse? J/K

Do it the AMERICAN WAY, by force, lots and lots of force.

Good Luck

no need for a mirror... i can see the front the back.. all angles of that piece. i can even pry enough of it to see inbetween and there's nothing there.

if all else fails.. i'm just gonna dremmel the end of the screw.

what's even more annoying. the bracket is metal and the screw is plastic. i was thinking its one of those push-lock screws because the head of the screw is smooth. but after pushing like hell against it. it still wont move backwards.

You might be right, the more you push back the more it digs itself into the plastic. Mine wasnt that hard, I guess someone dealed with it in the past.
One word.... Dremel.
