How do you take apart the Tail Lights?

Ok so I have searched and gone through multiple diagrams and manuals but I cannot figure out how to take apart the actual tail lights. I have them out of the car and I have taken off the several small screws around it that I thought would allow you tp pull the tailight apart but to no avail I cannot get it apart! Can soeome shed some light onto this for me? Is there some sort of special screw or bolt that I am missing?

You need a heat gun to use around the seam to soften the glue enough to pull apart. Some people put them in an oven, ive never tried that but you need to heat the glue that holds the 2 half's together so you can pull them apart.

I pulled mine apart, the easiest way i found, was the heat gun, but the best plan is to have someone put on some gloves, and then use the heat gun and a wide flat tip and then once it is heated, stick the screw driver in and then have the person holding it start gently separating it, and continue to put heat on it, not to much heat though.

You should let SevenLust do your lights.

He did mine. And he did an awesome job.

Look up SevenLust's profile and you cannot go wrong.

Here are a few photos of some of his work.
