How do you remove a-pillar without damage

Have a new defi water temp gauge to intall in a autometer single mount a-pillar pod. I know the a-pillar is held on by clips. How do I remove the a-pillar without scratching it or breaking the clips?

Just gently pull down from the top first, and work your way down.

Actually the list is ~60. And when I ordered a new one a little while ago, my dealer said there was only 1 left in country (not including the one I got).

There seems to be a lot of this being said, lately.

Maybe they're giving you an excuse to jack an extra $20 off ya.
