How do you remove the handbrake handle?

How do you remove the handbrake handle?

I've got the Mazdaspeed matching CF **** and E-brake handle..

but I don't know how to remove the E-Brake handle...


i've unscrewed and removed the Push button..

but I can't get the handle off.. it seems really stuck on there.. and I didn't wanna force it incase i break something..

anybody know?

Me too!

but I don't know how to remove the E-Brake handle...
You are going to have to cut the fricken thing off. It is attached to the metal with some very strong adhesive. Perhaps if you have patience you may be able to use a heat gun to melt the adhesive.

so you just cut it down the middle like a sausage and split it in half from left and right and peeled it off?

Exactly. Use a sharp blade.

I had to do the same thing. Use a thick razor knife....not one of those flimsy blades. Post some pics of this handle....im interested in seeing how they look.

i used a heat gun and slid it off in one piece. i could even reuse it if i wanted 2. no need to even remove the ebrake mechanism from the car
