How do you Remove the eBrake handle?
Pretty much what the title says.
I need to remove the hard handle part of the ebrake.
I have..
* removed the plastic centerpiece.
* unscrewed the 2 screws that hold down the leather boot on the eBrake. The boot rolls over the top of the eBrake, but its held by a metal ring.
Am I moving in the right direction? How do I get it off?
Thanks

I haven't removed a 3rd Gen e-brake handle, but most of them are just slipped on and (and maybe a tad of glue). Most of the time, you usually end up destroying it when removing it (I've had to cut into a few on other cars to get them off).
Are you replacing the shift boot or the e-brake handle itself? If you are just replacing the boot, you don't need to pull the handle off. If you are replacing the handle, put some vice grips on it and start twisting. Once it breaks looks, keep twisting and pulling it off at the same time.
