How do you remove the driver side window switches and how to fix?
I ask because my passenger window switch on the drivers side has broken. It is a mechanical problem and not an electrical one. It works fine when pushing it down but the shaft or whatever does the pushing and pulling has broken and won't allow me to pull up on it to put the window up. I know because I felt it snap when pulling up rather hard on it one day. Thanks for any help you may be able to give me. I want to pull it out but I want to set enough time aside. That is why I wonder if the switches just pop out or do you have to remove the door panel to get it off?
The window switch is actuated by a lever (plastic arm). This plastic arm tend to break off. I have tried to use JB weld and epoxy, but because of the design of the arm (it breaks at the base of the arm), the epoxy will not stand the torque. Just replace the whole unit. It's not that expensive, give Malloy a call.

My switch is broken as well, and inquired. Laters!

It does pop off but it's best to take the door panel off. You can do some other things while you are in there like lube up the window tracks and clean out any crap which accumulated inside the bottom of the door. Hard to fix the switch posts permanently - easier to just buy new. Expensive, but the only permanent fix I know works...
