How do you know if Ignition amp is working?

How do you know if Ignition amp is working?
I recently installed a HKS twinpower pack,
ignition amp.. And yes the LIGHT turns on
but is DIM..
So is there anyway to know if the ignition
amp is working or working properly or not??
Just a thought
