How do I upgrade the Exhaust System the right way?
Hallo Rx-7 friends, I am new to this Forum and would like to see if any one could help me with any information. I am from Aruba ( Dutch Caribbean)I own a Rx-7 TT '93. I Just bouth an HKS Carbon Fiber/Titanium Cat Back Exhaust System and installed it on the stock mide pipe and stock down pipe which is performing very good. Now I want to upgrade my Exhaust System with a beter flow mid pipe (catalist removal)and maybe later on installing a Down pipe. My questions are:@Is it true that by doing this the engine will run too lean?
@Is it true that I should first install an electronic device/computer(to over ride stock computer settings) to avoid this problem?
@If it is a problem should I leave the stock down pipe when installing new hi-flow mid pipe?
Please advice, any info will be highly appreciated
Thanks in advance.

you engine will not run too lean if u install the DP. but after 3 mods or more you should upgrade your ecu before you start denotating. i would also install the DP before the MP because you will have less of a change of boost creep. if i were you i would get the DP then upgrade you ecu then add intake then the MP if you really want more HP.
