how do i "tune" the BOV?!?!?!?!

i finally got my second turbo online and everything is going great...except now i get this REALLY LOUD squeal from under the hood. it isn't the turbo squeal...it is something else. i am thinking it is the BOV. cause before it would blow-off fine...now it doesn't blow-off like it did at 10psi...i think i just squeals. i have a greddy BOV. on the top is a nut you can turn for harder or softer. how hard is too hard? i am now pushing 12 -14 psi out the turbos. it feels like the first tubos spools up slow and then when the second kicks IT iS A KICK! but i get about a 12-8-12 pattern. and when it is doing the transition at the 8psi mark the squeal goes away...and then comes right back as soon as the second is full. so i really think it is the BOV...but how do i tune this...just keep turning down till the squeal is gone?...i just don't want to go too far...what happens if i do?

thanks,
mike

It sounds like the blow off valve might be too lose for 12 psi. Try making it harder and see if that makes the probel go away.

the more you tighten that adjustable nut on top of the BOV, the louder the squeal gets. try loosening it a little bit and see what happens.

MAN I FEEL LIKE A TARD-HOLE! i thought it was the blow-off valve because the sound came from my side of the car...and i have the BOV pointing that way. so that is the only thing i could think of...then this morning i pop the hood before church...and saw that i forgot to screw down one of the clamps for the intercooler piping on my side of the car i guess i shouldn't try to work on the car at midnight when i cant see anything! but thanks anyways...well it was i fun ride to church....i took down a upgraded VR-4! i couldn't belive it!...MY CAR IS SOOOOOOOO FREAKING FAST! thanks again!
