mainly I mean the big black section that has the hoor handle, vent, window controls, etc. How do I take it off.

 

remove the door first.. this is the driver's door right? pop off the little triangle panels that are behind the door handle and the mirror.. there .. i think 3 screws around the door panel itself.. remove that.. in the door handle part if you look down into it there is a little panel you pop off and it reveals a screw.. take off all of that and gently pull the entire door panel away and up to remove it from the window sill... just look over the door panel carefully
