Are you asking about venting the stock BOV to atomsphere?

Just remove the hose that connects the stock airbox to the BOV. Use something to cover the empty connection on the back of the airbox and away you go.

i hgear that bov can ruin turbos if you make the pressure on the bov not release till it get really backed up. if you do this with a stock bov does it hurt the engine.

This is why rotarys dont last! people are always doing things to there cars like this! if mazda thought that venting it to the outside of the intake was better, they would have..its little thing like this that hurt the car and the value of the car.

I don't agree with this at all. Mazda gave us the stock precat, stock intercooler and stock AST. They were a bit handcuffed by such parameters as emissions, NVH (sound) reduction and weight reduction.

Boosted rotaries don't last because of overheating and detonation, period.

You will be fine venting the BOVs to atmosphere. Over the last 6 years and 80k miles I have had both filtered and unfiltered stock BOVs and have noticed absolutely no problems.

you laugh because you think i'm joking. i laugh because it scares the **** out of people who think a duck is going to fly into them! if you live in texas or anywhere where it's ok for people to ride there bikes (lance armstrong wanna bees) then you know how funny this can be. just make sure to mount the call somewhere where it won't get the full heat of the engine bay. like use a 3/4" heater hose and mount the call itself near the front tire. and besure to cut/drill a few "bleeder holes" for the pressure to vent out a little. otherwise to sounds like a pregant yake (rosie ol' fat ***).
