My 7 has been rebuilt by a very very good shop in town. A tiny bit of detontion and there it goes. Sure some 7's will go for a while but hell look at all those for sale, they almost all have rebuilt engines. They suck, face it. They are SUPER FUN cars, I guess I have just had bad luck. This last time has just pissed me off enough to sell it. Anyone looking for a 93 with a new engine??

That sounds about right to me. I've also seen listings where the RX-7 is faster, and the Z is slower. A lot depends on who's driving of course...but either way you look at it, the RX-7 is faster than the 300ZX TT.

eh 300zs gan make a lot of noise and produce big numbers but all in all the rx will normally take wthe win but as many of the people here say, driver is a huge factor in this equation

from the tests i've seen the rx-7 comes out on top, followed by the 320 hp 3000gt, supra, and the 300z

Ok, research shows that the 300zx changed it's numbers year to year on the TT..... 1991 seems to be their fastest year w/ times ranging 5.0-5.4 0-60 for mt models and 1/4 et's @ 13.7-14.0. Note that the production numbers in 1991 are less then 1/2 of 1990 and is even more dramatic for subsequent years. The car never dipped below 5.5 0-60 after 91.... These numbers might be slightly skewed but this is the best i can find...
