No really, all joking aside, I didn't really mean "stupid" and I can see doing it for the authentic side of things. Kinda like the guys who restore old classics, you won't find anything but original oe parts, even though they paid an arm and a leg for them, I do understand.
BUT..... I could argue the "athenticity" of 99 tails on anything pre-99 just for the fact that it wasn't a factory option for that model year, so how do you have "athenticity" when it's a clone.
Honestly, I have the real 99 lenses.
bought the car that way.
