How to disconnect clock spring?
Anyone know how to disconnect the airbag clockspring under the steering wheel (orange/blue) w/o braking anything? It looks like it has tabs but I'm worried I'm gonna break it. I feel dumb not being able to disconnect it but better safe then sorry. Thanks

I replaced mine last week (thanks for the new one Salvagesale Fritz). If I remember right, there are two connecters on the same connector, one for the airbag and the other for the horn or cruise control. I disconnected the horn/cruise on first, and then you need to monkey with the tab on the airbag connector to get it off. It was awkward to remove.
Did you remember to disconnect the battery? Don't set off the damn airbag.

i think you have to disconnect the blue one first by holding down a tab and pulling on the plug and then you can remove the orange one in the same manner. look closely...
you will break it if you keep yanking on both at the same time.
