how to differenciate
Hi guys,
i would like to know normally how to isolate if it's the fuel pump running weak or it's the injectors are running its max capability?
i have datalogit and WB connected to each other.
while i'm boosting at 0.9 Bar, at around 8000 rpm, i get and AFR value of 12.8 which is hell lean. at that particular spot, my inj duty cycle are at 100%.
but, just one box towards the left which is around 7500 rpm, my duty cycles are around 95%. and my AFR value is 11.3 which is pretty nice. it's giving me 300rwhp on a ported but almost stock engine.
in this situation, if i upgrade my fuel pump and fuel regulator, will i solve my problem of having a lean spot at such high RPM ?

If fuel pressure is lower at 7500 RPM than at 3000 RPM, then you're not using the injectors to their full capability. Upgrading injectors may not solve the problem. Replace the fuel filter, then rewire the fuel pump so it sees full battery voltage, and if that doesn't help it's probably time to upgrade the fuel pump and/or lines.
If fuel pressure is steady all the way up to redline, try increasing fuel pressure (if your regulator allows this) or upgrade the injectors.

i got a 255lph warlbro installed....
haven't really check the readings yet..
i would like to know if i should put in a fuel pressure regulator, increase the pressure so that i get more fuel through the injectors ?
