Ebay.

Waited tell the aution closed, e-mailed and called the guy. Then flew down and bought it. Fun drive home for San Diego Ca to Redmond Wa. Average speed was about 100. Made the trip in 17.5 hours all 1200 miles, non stop except for gas. I hear I made good time.

Damn alot of autotrader guys. Believe it or not my grandma wanted to know what a RX-8 looked like so i went on ebay at her house and then seen 93 RX-7 for $12,000. Told her it wouldnt take long i just wanted to look at the car. Seen it was in Nebraska and called the guy up right away.

eBay, emailed the guy because I noticed he was going off to train to fly jets and needed to sell the car. I told him I had a price in mind that I wanted to pay for the car, he said he had a price he'd take for the car. Our prices matched exactly so I paypal'd a downpayment and overnighted him a cashier's check. He left UVA for Oklahoma the next day and had friends drive the car down to my parents who were staying in Winston-Salem. I left work that same afternoon in a rental car and drove to get the FD. Couldn't sleep a wink when I arrived so I finally got up, packed my stuff in the car and sat in it until my folks woke up. Had breakfast with them and left to drive back to MI.

To this day I have never met the guy I bought her from. If I did I'd shake his hand because the car was exactly like he listed it.
