how to diagnose a bad coil

I 'm having a few problems with the boost on my FD,
I'm running poor mans non-seq at the moment and I'm not seeing any boost in 1st gear at all and nothing until after 4000rpm in 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
I've got a new set of turbos to bolt up that I've worked to Full non-seq ( ported WG an all) . I also notice that when I accelerate there's a hissing ( that inceases) sound coming from the elbow side of the engine bay but I cant find any boost leaks over there.
So now I'm wondering wether one of my coils has gone bad, how would I diagnose this?

Under WOT your car will shake, stutter, and break up if your coils are bad. A hissing sound would indicated a boost leak to me... check your IC couplers.

My coilpacks went bad (this **** just kind of happens) at ~92K and the car would drive exactly like I said above under WOT conditions. I changed the coil packs and the first test drove I did I got a boost leak from the IC coupler that was a loud hissing sound.

Hope that helps!!

use an ohm meter and check within factory specs. They are a bitch to get too but check them before you buy them cause they cost a pretty penny!!
