How-To: Custom Turbo Control Solenoid Rack

Well I've just finished my install of the turbo control solenoid upgrade. Pulled a lot of information from different threads here and there. Figured I would share my write up in case it is useful to anyone.
I had to upload it to Google drive since it was too large to attach here.

Hopefully this works.

My car still has some sort of issue and isn’t running correctly. But I am pretty confident in the solenoid rack that if the ECU is telling the solenoids what to do that they would work perfectly fine. Whatever my issue is currently happened before I installed this. With no change. So I am getting more skeptical of either the harness or ECU. Though the problem doesn’t change with a Power FC so who knows. I’ll figure it out sooner or later!

Well, the fact that you can do it yourself and save $250. Also I've never seen an AzEknight solenoid install write up. I also replaced the fuel pressure regulator solenoid which is not included in the AzEknight kit. I am thankful to him and others for the information I could find on the solenoids, but ultimately never found one specific thread that made me feel confident in replacing them. So I compiled all of the information I found to share with others. That's all, not trying to steal anyones thunder. I mentioned AzEknight in like the first two sentences of the write up.

After scrolling for 200 posts I still don’t see any installation guide except for people who bought it, looks like they were sent installation instructions.

They are off the shelf. In the writeup it says they are Fabco-Air 103SMG-2-M-V-12VDC .

Last edited by arghx; Jun 25, 2018 at 08:56 AM. Reason: Fabco not MAC

if you read it, you'd know they're not off the shelf. there's lead time no matter where you buy them from, and I need one before this weekend.
