i havent been able to drive my car in a year and im starting it soon. how i can test if my fans are working cos i have a doubt that they arent.. And i feel pretty unconfident to go driving, if they arent working ill end up with blown motor really fast..

 

Start the car with the a/c and fan switches off. Then turn them both on, if your fans are working they should turn on.

 

Turn key to the on position without starting the car, then press the AC button and turn it to setting 4.

 

turn car on, wait for fans to come on.... check temp often.

 

in what temperature fans are supposed to start? hmm cant really understand why cooling fans should start if i mess with ac controls? but ill give it a shot

 

Because the fans pull air across the A/C condenser and Mazda just decided to have the fans run all the time if the A/C was on instead of doing some sort of fancy refrigerant pressure based fan control system.
