how can i get rid of the air bag light?

i just removed the stock steering wheel and put a momo wheel in my car but now the airbag light wont stop blinking. what can i do to make this stop?

You have to fool the airbag control unit by putting a resistor in place of the airbag.

What value resistor? I don't know; I still have the stock wheel. Whatever you do don't try measuring the airbag resistance with a meter!

Maybe now's the time to familiarize yourself with the search feature, if you haven't done so yet.

Just take the cluster off and take the bulb out

you cant just take the bulb out it needs the bulb to conect the electric current otherwise a beeping sound will start.

If you are able to get ahold of the correct Momo adapter, they come with a plug in resistor that fools the airbag light. This is the one I have. I think it is finish line products that made it for a Miata. Do a search on John Magnsoun(SP?) he was the one that posted up about it.

Otherwise, electrical tape.
