Thumbs up How to bleed air from cooling system. Boiling coolant/gurgling sound fix

For anyone that has noticed the coolant boiling and can hear it when the hood is open. It is like a gurgling, bubbling, boiling sound.

* Let car cool off
* Look for a 1/2" hose between maifold and firewall and just to the left of the elbow, connected horizontaly.
* Disconect that hose and have the hose opening pointing upwards.
* Start the car (in 1st gear or tap the gas)and let the bubbles escape.
* Let it run for a few min to get rid of the air bubbles.
* Connect hose before shutting off engine
* Shut off engine and finish connecting hose with clamp.

You will need:
1 Bottle Anti Freeze Coolant
1 Bottle distiled water
or
1 Bottle distiled water
1 Bottle Royal Purple Ice or Red Line Water Wetter

Thanks to Candy from Pettit Racing

If your car is boiling coolant, I would worry less about the air bubbles and more about the fact that your motor might have ruined your motor.

Engine is fine

The boiling is from air in the coolant system (as stated in original post). Yeah, I need the Pettit AST as she mentioned it has a presure lid that can release air.

Thanks ArtGuy
