How big Intercooler?

What size of an Front mount intercooler can i get into my 92 FD?

What size do you got and how much power do you take out of your engine?

Or does a OEM fitted ones work just as good?

Mine is a 92 also. Its called a 93, but it was made in July 92.

Anyway, just check the RX-7 store, the link is above. Any of those ICs will work fine.

Some people use stock mount and some use front mount.

It really doesn't matter that much, because the ICs are 100 times better then stock, so just as long as you upgrade, your fine.

Sounds like it should work...I had to do the conversion because of the whole American measurements thing.

In your sizes it should be 27.17 * 9.5 * 4.3 Inch

How about the depth? Can I lift the Water and AC coolers to get more space?

Damn thats big!!! Where can I get one? I think that is a little thick, anything over 3.5" is kind of a waste. You may have some major fitment issues, not to mention if you didn't you may have to trim a lot of the inside of your bumber, good luck!

No I dont want to cut my bumper. But If I could get the other coolers a little back it may work.....

Thats the "small" one I´ve found. It would cost 300$ for the core plus 100$ for the "sides". so its pretty cheap.

I made this one when I had a single turbo rotary engine in there. It was a horizontal mount, and the core was 4 1/2 in. thick. The volume of the core was 780 cu in.

And what's with the position of the air filter above the passenger headlight? Doesn't even look like you could use the lights! Maybe he just doesn't have a hood.
