Got in a collision today when a lady ran a stop sign and hit my front end coming in from my passenger sided. How bad does the damage look? From my inspection, it looks like the damage is most in the front end. Door gaps on both sides still look the same. Car runs but is leaking oil which I think is from my oil cooler.

I fingers crossed hoping it doesn't have to be totalled...

Looking on the bright side, I already got a 99 spec bumper ready to install. I guess it's going on early than expected.

Probably some chassis alignment but it looks to be in front of the suspension. Fenders, hood, head-light assemblies and bumper assembly in addition to the right side oil cooler. But there will likely be additional once disassembly takes place. I would not think it's totaled, though it might be close. You're the claimant not the insured... which might be a plus.
How is your car insured? Traditional policy or agreed value?
And I'm not sure how the other driver's insurance company will handle the repair shop replacing the bumper assembly with a later model version that you provide.
