how BAD are cracks at the spark plug holes?

well, im pulling the engine apart and i notice that there are small cracks around the leading spark plug holes. is this really that bad? do they need to be replaced? that would suck horribly as i just got rid of an immaculate set of rotorhousings. is there a spec on how big the cracks are. . . or how many there are?

i know that brand new housings are the best way to go, but i cant really afford to pull those out of my ***. is it okay to reuse them?

I can imagine no scenario where the cracks will get better. I would replace the housings. Sooner or later - probably sooner - the housings will fail.

if i remember correctly.......the manual says replace them if the cracks are over 6mm long. If you are doing this as a reliable engine....replace them. If you plan on doing 10K mile refreshes.(like some hardcore track guys do).....they will probably serve your purpose one more time if the cracks are small.
