I did a search and I kept coming up with with results that were for the hood catch or the wire for the release. My problem is the hook that goes into the latch. Where it is welded inside of the hood broke off of the hood and now sits inside of the hole in the hood and I cannot seem to get it out, or see a way to replace this. There are rivets around the hood hook and I cannot find another picture of it to see if the rivets are supposed to be there or if it was a previous problem that some one fixed. Can I take this hook off and order a new one or am I going to have to get a new hood?

 

The striker is not available separately.

The rivets are supposed to be there. That is how the striker is held to the hood.

 

Good to know I suppose. I ended up riveting the front and tac welding the back. Have to get a body shop to do a better job later.
