Home Depot Boost Controler & PFC together

Hi all,
I am in the midts of the hose job and thought I would go ahead and put the needle valves in to replace the both pills...is there any advantages to this if I already have the PFC ? (mods are in sig)

Thanks

yeah, being able to adjust the secondary prespool is a good thing. My boost pattern was nowhere near 10-8-10 (somewhere around 10-9-14) when I lived in Colorado until I put in the needle valve then I was able to get about a 11-7-11

Tom93R1, was that boost pattern with the PFC, or without?

I didnt notice that the PFC had much of an effect on my boost pattern. All I was able to do is get it to raise boost across the board. My mods were PFC, down pipe, and high flow cat. Now I have a RB dual tip cat back and have been able to get my pattern to 11-8-11.

Ok, I went ahead and did the manual boost and prespool...Since I have the PFC any recommendations on where to set the valves for a first run? and once I have them set should I use that to adjust boost of use the PFC? you know, to be honest I really didn't have a reason to add them...I just did because I was in the middle of the hose job and thought it would be cool...

I dont remember exactly where my boost control is set but the pre-spool is about 3/4 of a turn out. I dont use the PFC at all for boost control, I do it all with the needle valves.
