coupla things:

You're referring to the reservoir, not the ast, right?

I just found a set of 20 stock lug nuts on ebay for $25 not too long ago. There might still be some for sale.

I've often thought that Mazda is trying to recoup all of their warranty losses on the rx7 (new engines, turbos, etc) via price gouging on parts...

long story short... I needed a new steering rack.

A new one from Mazda was $1495.

I mean, either Mazda is recouping some of their FD losses on parts or their supplier for steering racks bent them over big time. Jeez - that is ricockoulous.
