HKS V-Mount Where to Buy?

Does anyone here know where I can get a HKS V-mount? Im liking this version better than the RE or others. I already have a upgraded radiator and dont need to get another one so this kit works best for me but cant seem to locate where to get one now. I think they go for around $2300 when I could find them.

Thanx
Jeremy

Oh lucky you - it seems the sale price is more than the regular price! Sweet.

i agree its alot when i believe chuck has a better deal on his IC, but dont hate on the brother maybe he just the HKS sticker. that alone adds another 10 hp and drops your air temps another 30 degrees.

Wow funny. Maybe some people just feel an assurance of quality by buying a known brand name.

Next time you buy shoes buy some Nike fakes from Taiwan and see how they compare to normal/authentic Nikes.

Don't hate on the guy.

Sheesh its not like you can even get a V-Mount on ebay and even if you could I wouldnt want it. Its not that its HKS its just I like the way that one mounts and that I could use my PWR raditor with it so for about the same cash I could get the RE or the HKS one. I am now looking into getting Chucks version a little more than before however just due to the hassle of shipping and special ordering stuff. Too many of you guys are compareing apple to oranges with the ebay crap vs. a good quality V-Mount.

HKS Vmount was never released to the US market. I think you can special order it.

I have seen the HKS setup in person and it is a VERY well engineered setup. It does take a little bit of effort to install it if you are maintaining power steering and A/C, because the kit is designed for 99+ FDs. I really like how the kit uses a very large intercooler while still maintaining a 51R size battery. The splitter and ducting is also well engineered.

I am with you!

What V-mount does not require a bit of effort to retain the p/s and a/c? The big selling points of the kit is the ability to keep the 51R battery, large intercooler, and the ability to use your current radiator (since most have an upgraded). Plus say you want to go back to a SMIC or FMIC, all you need to do is get the intercooler kit, since you already have the rest.

Yes it may be alittle pricey, but it does have some VERY good selling points.

I agree with rynberg.

I also thought about HKS Vmount and definitely would of bought one if it wasn't for the price.
The design looked great and I liked how everything was set up. Also, the core looked huge!!

I think you're making the right choice Jeremy!

Thanx guys, if I could just find one for sale then I could decide if I want to buy it or not. Also it looks like there are 2 different models for stock twins and 2 models for single. One for 91.5-93 and one for 93.5 and up year models but that again is for JDM so im not sure which one would be the right one. Im guessing the 93.5~ but its $400 more so I dont really want to guess.
