I mounted mine right above the cruise control. It uses one of the bolt holes for the cruise control and has a short pvc pipe that the bolt goes through to hold it just slightly above the cruise control unit. I'll take pics

You don't need to get a retune when you install the Twin Power.

If anything my car runs much smoother now through the powerband. Of course that could just be the new plugs too.

If you are pushing 13psi+ the TwinPower should provide a little more oomph with no retune.

With higher spark output the combustion would be more efficient and create a leaner burn. It shouldn't be enough to require a retune though. I never compared before and after though and i retune my car all the time, so it's hard to say for sure.

Yeah i live in the country so it doesn't take long for dirt to get in the engine bay, cosmetically my car isn't the sexiest, but it runs like a top.

Im no guru but from what ive been told, you dont need a tune, but it will cause you to run .1-.3 leaner? cant remember what the exact number is... so even tho a tune isnt required it could help assist you while tuning.. just my .02

No trouble with it hitting the hood for me. Been running it there for over a year. I checked the location with some plumbers putty to make sure there was enough clearance.

I just measured and cut it. Cant remember exactly the size it was, pretty straight forward though.

I might resserect this thread for my help needs.

I bought a TS and currently trying to install it.
I have the naked wire NON FD harness (universal.)

I have 4 main wires. (+a earth)
red-power
yellow-trailing coil
yellow- trailing coil
white-leading coil.

Now the wiring diagram colours dont make sense/match up.
I see what appears to be a black/red wire that goes into all 3 coils, looks like must be a power wire.
Each coil then also has 1 additional wire, a differant colour for each. This looks like a signal wire.

The question is, do the 2 yellow and 1 white wire connect to the signal or power wires on the coil?

plz help

reading that, it sounds basic. The yellow and white gotta go to the signal wires (if thats what they are) cause the red(power) goes to the power, which i think is the common red/black wire to all 3.
