Is HKS Twin-power heat sensitive?

I was showing my FD to a guy the other day, and he had mentioned to me that I may want to move the mounting of my HKS twinpower to somewhere up on the firewall or fenderwells, to try and isolate if from heat. Right now I have it mounted low on my driver-side strut tower, about even with the level of the trailing plugs. Reason is, there is an unused threaded hole there, and it was an easy place to mount. He had said that he used a twinpower on his Supra and mounted it low in the engine compartment, and it failed due to overheating. Does anyone have any experience with the HKS unit failing due to exposure to heat?

That has not been a problem with the HKS units from what I've seen. The AEM units did fail from heat regularly but I believe they resolved that problem.

Sounds like where you mounted it is as good as you can. Should be fine.
