I was just curious to see where others have mounted theirs. I was thinking firewall but just wanna see if there is another spot. Sounds like a stupid question but I'm just cruios.

I put mine in the exact same spot. There is an empty threaded hole there, seems like the perfect place.

From the pic above, I've got mine in the frame rail where the bracket for the wanna be x-member used to be. I sawed off the bracket and used a tek-screw.

Thanks guys for the comments. I really didn't wanna try and mount it to the firewall since it's already cluttered as it is just being an FD. Both spots mentioned look good hmm just have to see which works better for me once I get a day off to install it.
