HKS Super Dragger Exhaust

I'm thinking about switching to the HKS Super Dragger Exhaust.

Does anybody have one on their FD. The HKS discontinue the Super.D.Exaust. So I want to be one to have one in my town. But how well is that exhaust.?
All I know is that it is one huge azz exhaust.

I have it on my FD, and it touched my stock rear bumper. Only the little black plastic thing thou. I had to bend the mounts down a little bit to not make it rub. Other than that I like the sound of it. Its not loud and ricey at all. Its not the loud even, but I think its the perfect note. Its louder on deceleration.

If your droped the car that wount affect how the exhaust touches the rear bumper. But if you are talkin about ground clearance, i have never scraped on anything, but i am also stock height . If you car is an inch and half lower than stock (sometimes drops arnt really what they say) you might worry about the can scrapin. But i really dont know. Do what you want. I have never scraped but thats just me.

fd3s_rx7...I had it on my car as well... until just a cpl weeks ago

LOVE the exhaust. I'm not a big fan of dual tips, or super sleek systems. I love this one cuz it's just THERE lol. You can even see it from the side profile haha

And like SpoolinRX said, i think it literally has the perfect note. It's not quiet, but not apex n1 loud. it's real deep throaty... just how i like it

Two things tho...

1) w/ the drop, you're bound to scratch. I dunno how SpoolinRX didn't scratch his (maybe he isn't aware of it haha) but virtually every person I know that had this exhaust scratches the bottom of it. But it's no biggie, very minor superficial scratches, which can never be seen unless you actually remove the exhaust...

2) Mine never touched the bumper. I never had probs w/ that...?

As for how good of an exhaust it is... it's practically a classic. An oldschool classic...and I'm a big fan of HKS in general...i dont think you can go wrong w/ 'em

I'm actually selling mine if you're interested...just had it polished recently, and it's in practically perfect condition. PM me if you're interested

BTW Welcome to the club,

FD3S is another name for RX7(chassie code name). The Japanese call rx7 FD.
when you have your 7,
Look under your hood at the fire wall or your vin # there should be FD3S on it. Stating that it is the chassie code name of the car.

Yeah, I was just wandering about that too.
I was being very picking about buying exhaust, but this exhaust is huge. Still wanders did I really like it or what made me buy it. But hopefully it'll look good on the car when I put it on tonight.

I'm telling you, the HKS Super Dragger is HUGE.
You can see that muffler from the side a mile away.
I just got it on the car. I strip the bolt with the ground on it, so I have to get two gasket to make it fit tight without any leak. But it was exactly as described. Not too loud and not too low. Just perfect.

I'll post up some pix as soon as possible.

well... i have the old HKS S.D., and its biggest of them all. The differences between the old and the new is the design. The new one is straight thru! But i think the canister is slightly smaller?!

My exhaust sound nice... low and throathy during 2500+ rpm... not loud at all.

here are some pix:

can u see how big that thing is...? i dont like the look personally

MazdaRx7Racer4Life, that's the one I'm selling...
the link to the one for sale on the forum is a Southern Cali pickup only...besides, you don't wanna pay for shipping clear cross country...

I'm in VA, so shipping to FL shouldn't be too bad. PM me if you're interested
