HKS Intake install question

Ok so I got the HKS Intake for my 93 RX-7, and I installed everything.

I took the stock airbox off, along with all the hoses. (Cept the ones needed to connect the HKS piping to the car)

My question is, after installing everything I kinda guessed as to where some hoses go. The ABV(blow off valve) is vented into the air, while the CRV is vented into one of the connections on the intake piping. Now when I took the airbox off, i noticed that i took a hose off of the smog pump (not sure what it is, it turns on when i let off the gas.) Im not sure where to put this hose, should i connect it to the intake? or just put a filter on it? It sounds really wierd when my car warms up, almost sounds like one of those gas blowers. It only sounds like this when my car warms up, or when i let off the gas and coast in gear.

I think the sound your hearing is what alot of people refer to as the "Moo" sound.

You can put a filter on it the Dale Clark "Cost effective" way:
