Thumbs up hks cf ti mounted

Finally got my exhaust from sd-rotary. Smooth transaction here is a pic of it mounted up. The look of this exhaust is absolutly beautiful. The bushings were just absolute bitch to take off.

Sounds like a real car now. From the inside with windows closed at idle, it is at a good hum.

show a pic from directly behind the car, so we can see how much it angles outward and not straight back. How much does it weigh? is it SS piping, cf canister, and Ti tip?

Thanks,

Tim

The shipping said 25 lbs not sure if it's accurate though. Pipping is ss along the canister. The tip is only ti. This was my 2nd choice next to the greddy ti which weighs 10 lbs. But, hey the hks looks better and I can't see myself swallow 200 more to shave off 10 lbs when it could go else where. I'll get back to you with that pic.

use liberal amounts of WD40 on teh exhaust hangers to get them off. You can battle with thoes things for a while without it...

Yea, wd40 did the trick in the end. Still battling to reattach the middle hanger.

The piping is sus, the canister is just wrapped in cf, and the tip is Ti.

Hey Manga, nice exhaust, IMO, the hks Carbon/TI is one of the best looking cannister style exhausts on the market. Good choice.

And rotoboy661, you black car looks awesome.

I have the HK ti/cf exhaust too.. the problem with this exhaust is that the hanger breaks easily.. I have mine for about a little past a year and the hanger broke 3 times ... first it broke, had it welded and still broke, got a new one and its broke again...

planning to change my exhaust soon.....
