Hks Bov
Well i bought the Hks bov a while ago and then it started not to chirp anymore. Now it just started to do a weak psshhh. So i sent it in to HKS udner warranty and they fixed it. But when i installed it back on it did the same thing. When i'm driving it sounds like the BOV isn't closed all the way and is releasing some air when its nto suppose to be therefore lower boost. Is there anythgin else besides the BOV that could be problem. Vacuum liens are checked and fine by the way. Maybe the noise that soudns like air comign otu of BOV is somethign else? So basically my question is, is it the BOV thats messing up or somethign else..if so what could it be.

my friend has that problem too, its like barely any air is comein out of ur BOV. it makes a weird *** noise. it studders or someting. i think that is cause of low boost.

theres no possibly way that the spring could not be strong enough.. its a HKS blowoff valve they are reverse of the average BOV. Boost holds the BOV closed and the spring actually opens it up.. so yea theres no way that it could be staying open because of the design of the actual bov..
it is a SSQV right?
