high speed radiator fans

does anyone know if they make higher speed radiator fans and will they lower your temps more with the fan switch mod?

A higher speed fan would definately lower your temps. But I have no idea if they make any for the FD.

Check out the Perm-Cool fans at Summit Racing

They have some of the highest CFM ratings I've seen out of a fan. I've never actually measured out the rad, so I really don't know what can fit on them.

A high CFM rating does not guarantee that they will suddenly result in better performance than the stock fan setup. A fan's efficiency rating can drop precipitously once mounted close to a radiator; most manufacturer's CFM ratings are gained in an open cylinder without any obstructions.

Please read through that linked thread, as there's a lot of info in there debunking a lot of backyard engineering.
