high rpm question

I'm all about questions this week so here is another one.

My turbos boost fine until around 6000-6500 then they seem to start to drop off, kinda 10-8-10-8 boost pattern. I do know that I have a little ignition break up up there and need a HKS TP, but that shouldn't cause the boost to drop should it??

Also since I'm at it I have started to get a rough low idle when I start the car if it is warmed up, I wanna say it seems to be very rich feeling but it only does it for 15-20sec. then idles fine.

Mods are PFC, Profec B, DP, CB, stock cat, no emission stuff, and intake.

i have heard that removing the air pump can create a rough idle.... but I am pretty sure the general concensus is that a pfc would conteract this issue.

So i guess i have no idea.

You may need to adjust the gain better on your boost controller. Your cat could also be partially clogged.

You do NOT need an HKS ignition at 10 psi, LOL. If you are getting ignition breakup, then your plugs, wires, coils, or any combo of the above are bad.

Ok, thanks alot, I'm actually running 12psi and 10 just for driving around, but I agree it probably shouldn't need one.

I plan on getting some new wires, and the plugs should be good, but I will probably check them when I do the wires.
