high RPM, High load Mis......

I need some suggestions.......I have a high RPM, high load miss. My 3rd gen is cutting out for a split second around 5500 rpms when under boost. I have checked the volt. to the fuel pump and it is getting 12.4 V so I don't think it is fuel cut. It is almost like it stops firing for half a second and then kicks back in. I have checked duty cycle on the injectors and they are not maxed out. Anyone with any ideas???? Here are my related mods:

EFI PMS
Full non-seq
Open Exh.
Manual boost adj. (running 11.5 to 12.5 boost)
open intake
Walbro fuel pump

I had something similiar happen to me on the dyno (the plots are nasty...but I'll email them to you if you'd like to see it) but around 7k...(also PMS) I believe it might be glitches in the piggyback?!?!

It never happens to me on the street however.

The piggy back is pretty hard to tune a nice looking A:F curve, especially when NS. At least I've had trouble.

I have the same problem after going non-seq, I was told to relocate the knock sensor from the side of the motor to the engine bracket beside the alternator, did that(not easy project) still have a high rpm miss.

It may be the PMS ecu...

from Chris Regan:

"I have tried both the purple box and the Pink generation box and found them to work as advertised (see dyno results below) with one exception, a problem with the Pink box *in my car* at 6k rpm. So I decided to switch to the standalone ECU replacement, vs the EFI piggyback, and try the Power FC. I have no regrets over the switch."
