High oil press. after hose job

After doing the hose job I'm getting very high oil pressure. Even after warming the car when I get on the trottle the oil press. goes all the way to the top. I double checked the oil, and the level is fine, what could it be? Is there a hose for the oil press.? maybe I replaced it w/ the wrong size, or put a kink in the hose?

Really? I never shot above a little more than 60 even under full acceleration. Now, even without hard acceleration I'm at 120.

Exactly, mine is all the way to the top I think at 160. Somethings gotta be wrong with the connections.

efiniracing, which hoses did you replace?

Mazda removed my intake manifold and control solenoid pack to replace the oil lines to the turbos. This is when I began to have the high oil pressure when I got it back.

Anything sound familiar?

Which are the oil lines to the turbos? Do you happen to have a diagram of it?

Sorry, I don't know which hoses they were (since Mazda did the *ahem* work) or have a diagram of them. Maybe someone can pop in here and help out.

No but I'm not leaking any oil, and last night I noticed that while I was driving the needle for the oiil press. was fidgeting around very abnormally. I'm guessing that somewhere I misplaced a hoses w/ the wrong size hose

Sounds just like the symtoms I have (except I also have some annoying sound as well).

Drop me a message if you find out the problem, I'm hoping it's something simple as you said for the both of us.

It sounds like electrical more than anything else. Replacing the vacuum hoses shouldn't affect oil pressure at all.

Have you guys done an ohm test on the pressure sensor to make sure it is within parameters?

In my case, it was the oil lines into the turbos that were replaced.

Check the link I posted above about the problems I'm seeing and what sort of lead up to them. I would be interested in any opinion you might have.
