My car did the same thing. If it is not the brake fluid, it could be the emergency brake. It gets loose and under hard acceleration it comes up enough to turn the light on. I had mine adjusted about a year and a half ago and it solved the problem. It feels like it is getting a little loose again already.

Is there any chance that the one-way valve that feeds vacuum to the brake booster is malfunctioning, allowing pressure into the booster, causing some sort of alert?

yeah it's E brake light that comes on. I checked the brake F and it's up at full level. How do I go about adjusting it?? do I adjust inside where e-brake is or under the car??? could I do it my self of take it to the shop???Does it do any harm to the car performance wise or maintance wise??? Thanks for the support guys!!

I might second Bajaman's suggestion. Try the e-brake thing, and if that doesn't help then check the 1 way valve.

I also thought mine was a loose E-brake, I checked my brake fluid, it was only a little low. I topped it off and NO more brake light.

Lightbulb

Not a real suggestion, but I had this problem and it ended up being my brake pads.

I agree with the others, check the e-brake first. There was a good post about this about a week or two ago:

Remove center console section around brake lever and ashtray. Plastic serrated clips hold it in place to the base. Work evenly from front to back around the edge with a wide putty knife or interior trim removal tool so you don't snap the clips off. Brake adjusting nut is accessable once you get the panel out of the way. Loosen nut to loosen brake, tighten nut to tighten brake. Check to make sure your parking brake warning light is off when brake is released and on when brake is applied.
