I would recommend that you read the stickies in the 3rd Gen archives . Taking care of your FD is not a small task . You might wanna using the OBD and see if there are any fault codes first . Than you would be doing reliablity mods, radiator , intercooler or just your rats nests rebuild . If you are really stock , some of your vaccum lines might be in need of a change.

 

Yep, if your car is stock... Let the games begin. My car is bone stock and it's an uphill battle.

Welcome fellow newbie I'm quite jealous as nobody spewed out three pages in the first week for me.
