hi new to this forum after just buying my rex on saturday.
i did know that the engine wasnt running that good(over fuelling and flooding)
but also found a cpl of other problems.

misses and back fires like hell
idles at around 1100 rpm

ive not had a good look around the engine this was only taking it off the back of recovery truck.

i was planning to do a complete engine strip but if its something simple then maybe get away without doing one(the now anyway)
