94 will be fine...as long as you keep it below 17 PSI.

In some places 92 octane is the highest you can get but their are a few around here with 94. I try not to go below 94 if possible.

All you guys who get 94 at a reasonable price can kiss my butt. In CA it is 1.12 for 91. I mean i can get 100 pump at the 76 station but it's like 4.50.

You guys are lucky you have an option to run 94 daily.

1.12 for 91? You're lucky and must be in a cheap gas area of CA. I can't even find 87 for that . On a side note, I read that the 91 octane gas situation will be proliferating throughout the western area such as AZ, OR, etc.

I moved to the Phoenix area in October and the stations were all switching to 91. I only know of one near my house that is 92, needless to say Shell is about all I buy right now.
I was out in North Carolina a few weeks ago and all the stations I saw had 93 and 94 for the same price as I pay for 91 and 92, wtf is up with that? I got 91 in Colorado because I lived at a high elevation, but close to sea level this just sucks. I wonder if we can file a class action suit against the gas companies because they are reducing the octane on premium and making our cars more likely to detonate.

The owner's manual of FD's says that the min should be at least 91. So, no one dares to lower it anymore

91 should be fine for us in California as we are not allowed to do anything to the motor at all so we should all have the stock intake/exaust and obviously have the air pump still on right
Damn tree huggers

I hate to break it to you guys, but octane is not the primary ingredient in gasoline. It's just there to improve cleanly combustion characteristics. Having one more octane (i.e. 94) probably has no detectable effect on the car. What really matters is using the fuel that your ecu is designed to use. I think stock goes for 92 octane, though as I said using 93 probably is fine, since I wouldn't be surprised is that which is advertised as 93 is actually 92.5 or whatnot.
