Hey I have an extra wire on my engine

Im swapping stuff over to my new engine and I've found a wire that is just hanging in thin air. I checked my other wiring harness to see what that one did and that one is loose too. It is red and black. Here is a picture. It is the wire by the bolt with the washer on it coming out for the water pump.

that was my guess...do all FDs have that? I know not all FCs did and it resulted in an extra terminated wire in about that spot.
