hey - I dont fit in my car!
MY last FD was a JDM Type R stripped out racer. No problems there. When that was destroyed I bought a local car, but of course they all came with a sunroof here. I went racing last weekend but only now do I realize that I dont fit in with a helmet on. Has anyone successfully modfied the seats? There's nothing harder than driving with your head tilted to one side
I'm 6'1" BTW. Unfortunately I sold the old FD seats

Yeah, I feel your pain. I'm 6'4" and I have good posture. There are very few cars worth driving that I fit into, even without a helmet. When I take the Talon to the track (and wear my helmet) I'm forced to drive like a gangsta.
I'm like 5' 10" and I have a hard time in the car with a helmet!!
Must really be hard for you
Well, the roof of the car would be hard to modify so I would suggest getting racing seats and modifying the rails so that the seat sits as low as possible or even just find a way to bolt the seat directly to the frame without rails.

1. Aftermarket seat
2. Remove the rails and bolt the seat to the floor.
I'd go with #1. There is a guy on the forum here who goes by RTS3GEN. He is around 6 foot and has a sunroof. He has an aftermarket racing seat installed on the drivers side as well as an aftermarket wheel (to help with leg clearance). I'm not sure which seat he has, but I believe it's one of the Sparco non-adjustable ones.
